Azul Cup

About

The Azul Cup is a world team tournament hosted on BGA.Each national team comprises of at least 3 players. In the Azul Cup teams compete against other nations to determine the World Champions.Games are played in a 1v1, colour side, turn-based format.Teams are initially organised into a first round regional competition with one player from each team taking part in a separate round robin tournament and scoring points based upon their finishing position. 3 players from each nation compete in the first stage, each in a separate tournament.After the regional tournaments are complete the team that scores the highest points in the region move onto the finals.The finals comprise of 4 national sides and are played in the same format as the regionals.

Registration is currently still open and closes on January 3rd.Regonal tournements begin on January 11th, 2025.
